This beach cottage in Bethany had an existing deck of pressure-treated wood. The owners were tired of the maintenance and splinters and decided to go with a new Timbertech composite deck. They selected 'Tigerwood' from the Legacy Collection, a (4) four sided capped composite.
At the same time, they wanted to extend the decking into their beautiful backyard with steps to a ground level section. The plantings, done by one owner who is a certified gardener, make the yard a showpiece.
Both owners couldn't be happier and we really enjoyed working with them.
The existing Bathroom had leak issues and was very cold. To remedy this situation, the entire Bathroom had to be removed down to bare floor and wall framing. Leaking areas were corrected with proper material and flashing and the new Bathroom includes just about everything you could imagine or hope that yours has.
Examples are a completely heated floor controlled by thermostat. Gorgeous ceramic floor planking and wall tile with highlighted wavy patterned tile with a silver accent. A new soaking tub and walk in shower with a linear drain and Five shower heads all adjustable and again controlled by thermostat. Beautiful cabinetry with stone tops, mirrors, exquisite faucets and a full glass surround.
Naturally it has new towel bars and accessories. The entire bath has new painting of walls, ceiling and trim.
Our client made all of the selections and worked with us to tweak changes along the way for a phenomenal end result.
The owners of this house wanted the conventional bathtub removed as the husband was having a hip replacement and climbing into a tub would have been dangerous. In preparing for this project, we discussed safety issues, and it was agreed to have grab bars and a corner footrest added. In addition, new vanity cabinet and top, medicine cabinet, overhead lighting and a strong exhaust fan were added. The homeowner really made terrific selections, and the job came out terrific, just as expected.
This new deck replaced a wood deck that had rotted and was beyond repair. The owner did his best to keep up with painting the boards but Mother Nature won. In addition to the rotted deck boards, some of the floor joist were rotted as well. Once they were replaced, Wolf capped composite decking was installed on the main deck and balcony above. The owner selected a flat drink rail and black spindles. The horizontal top and bottom railings have aluminum channels to prevent sagging.
The area beneath the deck was covered with vinyl lattice panel with galvanized screening behind to keep out little critters. With a distant eye, the owners were concerned about resale value of the home. This improvement will definitely be a plus.
Outdoor Living ? This family loves to entertain family and friends and with their love for nature, they wanted the perfect outdoor living space. Working with their ideas, we came up with the perfect design. First the old smaller deck had to be removed with framing replaced. Then Timber-tech Composite Capped composite decking was installed with divider boards to control expansion and contraction. Three individual areas were created. One for grilling, one for dining and one for relaxation. With some of their friends getting up there in years, a very slight angled handicap ramp was added with a railing for safety.
